Grand Master Jun Yoon

Master Yoon

Jun Cheol Yoon was born in Seoul, Korea. He began his study of Tae Kwon do at the age of nine. After hard concentration and study, he was awarded his 1st Dan Black Belt at the age of 11 and gained two national championship titles.

In 1976, Master Yoon attended Sung Dong High School during which he attained his World Championship and Asian Games titles.

Following a successful high school career, Grand Master Yoon continued in the competition circuit in addition to attending Korean National Sport University. While taking his masters degree, Grand Master Yoon taught physical education and Tae Kwon Do at In Cheon High School.

In1983, Grand Master Yoon began his international travel as a Korean National Demonstration Team Member and World Class Coach. After his many professional visits to the United States, Grand Master Yoon decided to relocate to California, East Bay area in 1992.
