Meet Instructor Liz

Instructor Liz started Taekwondo at the tender age of 45.  Four of her friends talked her into signing up as an extra exercise class for the summer.  Liz is the only one of her friends who remained with Taekwondo.

You never know where you journey will start in life or where it will take you.  Instructor Liz is a prime example of that.  “Master Liz” as everyone calls her, is a 2nd Dan Black Belt who will be testing for her third this 2010 year.  She is a “fitness fanatic” who runs, bikes, swims, weight lifts, practices yoga, pilates, does cardio step as well as takes groove and hip hop classes.  Of all her exercise regimen, Taekwondo is her passion.  She feels empowered, strong and young while doing so.

She is a mother of 3 who have graduated from SF State University, St. Mary’s College and UCLA, one with an MBA. She is also grandmother of 2 grandsons and a devoted wife. 

Instructor Liz wears many hats at Sky as the manager, Taekwondo instructor and Sky Kicks Cardio Kickboxing instructor.  

Always a smile on her face and a warm heart, “Master Liz” is there to greet those who walk through Sky’s doors and start them on their own journey.  A journey that can begin at any age and at any time of your life.
