Tae Kwon Do is not only a sport, it is a way of life. At Sky Martial Arts we teach self-defense in both Olympic and Traditional styles, but we also stress heavily on respect and self-control. Being a martial artist does not end on the mat, but stays with you outside of the studio and for the rest of your life. At Sky Martial Arts, we strive to help you achieve a strong body, mind, and spirit. Through hard work and determination you can achieve anything!
At Sky Martial Arts we strive to help you strengthen your mind, body, and spirit! Our friendly and knowledgeable instructors, under the leadership of our world class leader, 8th Dan Black Belt Dr. Jun Cheol Yoon, will assist you or your child down the path to become an esteemed Black Belt! Tae Kwon Do is more than just a sport, it’s a way of life!
At Sky Martial Arts we have strong core values we teach our students. Having these core values will help each student through out life and will always remember what we have taught them.
Honor, Unity, Service, Perseverance.
My Daughter and I signed up almost 4 years ago now. We are fortunate to study under Grand Master Yoon who not only teaches the skills of TaeKwonDo but also teaches the character building aspects as well. I have confidence that the lessons my daughter is learning will be a part of her character for the rest of her life. She will have the confidence that she can do anything if she puts her mind to it (“Jung Shin Il Do Ha Sung Bulsung – If I have one goal, one focus. I can achieve anything.”). And that success is achieved through “Hard Work and Determination”. These character traits are not only memorized phrases, but learned through the process of achieving your Black Belt. Sky Martial Arts is also a great place we can condition our body as well as our mind.
Our family has been with Sky since 2010. The Yoons are great! The instructors are great! The Yoons and the instructors work to help each child reach their full potential. Last year, was the first time one of our boys competed and medaled at 2 state championships. He went on to also medal in his first national tournament. How awesome is that? Not only are the kids worked out physically, but they also learn discipline and respect. The parents of the other studio kids are totally awesome! Love, love, love this studio! :)
When you find peace within yourself, you become the kind of person who can live at peace with others.
